On October 24, users reported delays in Mexico City's Metro Line 12, with wait times reaching up to 20 minutes. Delays Reported Again in Mexico City Metro Line 12

This Thursday, October 24, users of Line 12 of the Mexico City Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro reported delays ranging from 10 to 20 minutes through social networks. There have been crowds and frustration at several stations due to these anomalies.

The chaotic situation is being experienced again in the Mexico City Metro, despite the official STC channels indicating otherwise. Through a post on social media, an estimated travel time of 6 to 7 minutes per station was stated, while users are experiencing waits of more than 20 minutes.

The cause of the slowness on Line 12 of the Metro was due to the removal of a train for inspection, which generated service issues. In response to user frustration, the Metro indicated that empty trains will be sent to the stations with the highest demand to address the situation.

On the other hand, the CDMX Metro reported that lines 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, A, and B are operating normally, with an interval of five to ten minutes between trains. Users are advised to take precautions before planning their trip.
